Incremental progress.

Last I wrote, I’d just spent the better part of the day trying to figure out how to get the Adobe spry sliding panels widget (from the online beta framework, not built into dreamweaver) to work the way I wanted it to. Turns out, it cannot do what I wanted it to do. Should I be happy to know I’m not an idiot for my inability to make it work, or unhappy that it took me hours to figure that out? Sometimes my tenacity isn’t always a good thing.

John is very excited about his upcoming fly fishing river float trip in Alaska. He’s finally getting up to speed on the video editing software, having made the leap to apple. Hours on Lynda.com, long telephone conversations with our friend Terry, owner of Trout Bum Diaries, and several expensive packages from Brunton later, and he’s set for his first real filming trip. Hope this means video content soon…

I’m posting pictures regularly, but need to get back on the podcasts. Sigh. It’s harder to keep up on all this stuff than I thought it would be. I’ve been twittering, or should I say “tweeting?” Interesting media. I’m not sure if it will be great for our website promotion yet, but I have made several great contacts who can help us with the planning for our walkabout.

Cheers!!
